i would recommend using a clear nail polish that is enriched with calcium in it. This way your nails will look polished and good while being repaired. Or you could increase your calcium intake by drinking milk etc. But my best advice would be to use the calcium enriched nail polish. I've tried it before because my nails were brittle and constantly breaking so i picked some up from walmart for like 2-3 dollars MAX and it worked in like 1-2 weeks.

Lightly buff your nails with the Talika nail shaper to get the ridges off and then paint them using a heavy topcoat for strength.
