Can the chemicals from acrylic nails make your real nails fall off?

I had acrylics on for a few months and recently had them taken off. Now my real nails seem to be slowly coming off. There is no pain/swelling/redness/fungus. None have fallen off completely, but a few seem to be detaching themselves from the skin. Can the chemicals from acrylic nails make your real nails fall off?
no, however they do make your nails underneath feel weak / brittle so its important to take care of them afterwards :) xCan the chemicals from acrylic nails make your real nails fall off?
Your nails won't fall off but it can make them much weaker.

I know it's pretty, but my advice is to not get your nails done too often. Maybe once a year. Because acrylic can cause long term damage.

After the fake ones fall off, take care of them with gelatin. It helps strengthen them.

All of the women I've known who have gotten their nails done repeatedly in the past now have very ugly nails. The color of your real nail can change and become darker-- the surface will have very large ruffles.

By the time your 40, your fingers will look 70.

My advice is just to do it on special occasions. But Gelatin really does help.

Don't forget to take care of your natural nails and let them grow out :)
