Can I get my acrylic nails filled in if they are lifting at the cuticles?

I've had my nails on for a week and 3 days, and they are starting to look bad. They're lifting and they are french manicured so you can see it easily. Can I get a fill right over the lifting or must they remove them and put a whole new set on?Can I get my acrylic nails filled in if they are lifting at the cuticles?
It depends on the nail technician, but I would file down the area that is lifting to almost the natural nail, put something on the nail to dry it out and prevent bacteria and then fill over it.

I usually have to get a fill done every 10 days because my nails grow fast, but you shouldn't be lifting already
