How do I remove my acrylic nails?

I have all acrylic nails with white tips that I would like to remove. How would I do that without completely killing my nails? How do I remove my acrylic nails?
I don't know why so many people are so against removing them yourself. Nail salons don't always do a good job at removing any type of nail enhancements. Many will simply tear them off your nails with nippers or a plastic tip. You can remove them yourself safely, and easily at home.Be sure to use 100% pure acetone that has been warmed since heat makes the acetone work faster when using it to remove acrylic nails. Acetone nail polish remover will take much longer than pure acetone and non acetone remover won't work at all. The process is rather simple and straightforward. One thing that no one has mentioned is this: If your nails have a UV gel topcoat or sealer on them, you must remove this layer prior to removing them in the acetone. Use a 150 or 180 grit nail file and file this layer off. Gel is easy to file and it will take only a few minutes to remove from all 10 nails. Be sure not to file too much off as you do not want to take off any of your natural nails by over filing. Once this is done, you can soak them in the acetone. After about a full 30 minutes has passed, try removing the acrylic by gently scraping it off with an orange stick. Remove whatever softened acrylic that you can, and if there is some left on your nails, simply soak them for another 5 minutes or so and try again. It will eventually come off completely. Only do one hand at a time since the acrylic will harden quickly when removed from the acetone. A few words of wisdom for you: 1) Be careful with pure acetone. It is flammable, so don't use it near any open flames and don't smoke or let anyone else either while using acetone. 2) Always use an old towel of cloth to cover your work surface. That way, if some is spilled, it won't eat through the finish of the table or other surface you are working on. 3) Be sure to work in a well ventilated area because acetone produces some pretty strong fumes, and you don't want to be breathing these in for a long period of time. 4) Be patient. It will take a while to remove the acrylic. Don't be in a rush while doing this. Also, don't force it off as this will cause damage to your natural nails.

I hope this helps! How do I remove my acrylic nails?
Most pharmacies and supermarkets sell an at-home product specifically for removing acrylic nails. It basically 'melts' the acrylic which you can then buff off. It took me about an hour to do mine and my nails were left in pretty good condition. Also, most nail technicians can remove them for you.
The best way to remove them is to go to a nail salon and have them remove them. But that costs money and honestly coming from someone trained to be a nail technician, I wouldn't pay someone to do that. All you need is a glass bowl and some Acetone. You can buy Acetone at a beauty supply store. If you don't want to go buy that, you can use nail polish remover with acetone in it, it will just take longer. All you have to do is soak your nails in the acetone or polish remover with acetone for about 15-20 minutes. Your acrylics nails should then start to literally melt. You can take a hard piece of plastic and start to scrap the melted acrylic off the nail. Then re-soak them another 5-10 and scrap it off again. Repeat until it is all off. There will still some damage to your nail, but you can take a fine grit emery board and lightly smooth you nail a tiny bit at a time. Your nails will be thin so don't try and smooth your nails completely, wait a few days and smooth again.

The most destructive way to remove them is to just pop them off.
You should deffinitelly go to the salon that put your nails on %26amp; have them remove them, its usually one of the services they offer.

It should be relatively cheap, I would call ahead of time to make sure they can remove them for you, and if they cant ask what they would reccomend you do.

Good luck, and i hope i helped!
Well probably the best thing to do is to go to your nail salon and have them remove them. They'll do it without damaging your nails and i think it doesn't cost much, they charge me only five bucks to have them removed at the nail salon i go to. =)
Well the acrylic is already basically killing your nails.

You can soak them off with strong nail polish remover.

But your nail beds are already thinned out.
