How long do Acrylic nails usually last?

If put on professionally at a spa, how long do they last before falling off/chipping?How long do Acrylic nails usually last?
As a nail technician myself, they are supposed to be filled every 2 weeks. It can be different for everyone though. And as long as you go to a highly professional establishment that uses good quality product, you should not have really weak and thin nails after getting them done. If you do, it means you should spend a little more money and go somewhere nicer.

Again, if you're going somewhere with highly experienced nail techs that use good product and methods, they should not hurt to be put on. Do not go to the cheap places in the malls just because they are cheap. Their cleanliness is questionable and they are known for causing pain while doing your nails. How long do Acrylic nails usually last?
I can tell you from personal experience. I have had Acrylic nails many many times and you will have NO worries about them falling off or chipping. They are next to impossible to ever get off when you want them to. The only downfall would be having to have them filled every couple of weeks.

I can personally guarantee that Acrylic nails are 100% easier to manage than Gel nails. Not to mention that when getting Acrylic nails applied, they dont' have to file down your nail beds until they are almost gone. 1/2 hour for an application of Acrylic and 2 hours for the Gel. With Acrylic they just scratch up the surface of your existing nail to make the Acrylic nail stick.

I hope this helps you!
mine lasted over a month ..they just start looking bad when you nails start growing out but you can get them filled so they look like new again! Just be warned if you already have nice healthy strong nails you shouldn't get them because after you take the acrylics off your nails are thin and weak and I hated it ..now they are strong and healthy again but it was a nightmare!
well, i just got mine done a few weeks ago and they lasted about two weeks, but if you want to keep then on longer just buy the nail polish top coat and but it on your nails once a week and they should last a another week. (just if your wondering revlon is having a sale at longs buy one get one free!) this offer is good till 9/27/08 Good Luck!!!
for sanitary reasons.after 2 weeks it is recommended that they be refillled because they can start to lift a little, moisture will get into them and you might get an infection.

They should be completed removed and a new set put on after 2-3 months.
About a week or two depends on how active you are and how quickly your nails grow. After though your nails are much weaker and you would of been better off just growing them out by going to the nail salon every week getting your natural nails done and healthy
it depends on weather you use water allot usually they last about 2 weeks to a month but that also depends on where yo get them done water will make them come off faster though that doesn't mean don't wash your hands use allot of lotion though also
well they could last something like 6 weeks(ask the nail professional when you get them done) if you never get them filled, which is when they fill the gap of growth every two weeks.
about 2 weeks, though afterwards your nail bed is sooo brittle... they look really good, but when they come off you have really ugly nails.
usually a week for me before they need to get filled and repaired.
like 1 to 2 weeks then after that they look like trash... i had mine on for like a month once it was ugly but i couldnt take them off :)
about a week and a half.
